The Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter, would organise its annual conference on September 12 and 13 in Madurai, hosted by Mohans Medicity Hospital, said organising secretary Mahalakshmi Prasad on Thursday.
Published - September 10, 2026 08:10 pm ISTThe conference will bring together around 300 delegates, including leading radiation oncologists, medical professionals and experts in cancer care from across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and other parts of India.
The conference aims to provide an important platform to take advances used at the international and national levels to the grassroots level to achieve a cure and better quality of life for cancer patients, the organisers said.
It will also facilitate sharing the latest advances in radiation oncology, discussing evolving treatment strategies, exchanging clinical experiences and strengthening multidisciplinary cancer care, she added.
