has replaced the injured for 's upcoming Afghanistan T20Is and the Asian Games. Rana had first suffered an injury in his which kept him out of action for the last two months but he has now picked up a new injury.Rana "was progressing well during his rehab at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE). He sustained a rectus femoris strain while bowling during a match simulation on September 7 and has subsequently been ruled out," a BCCI release said on Thursday. Rana had missed the last two T20Is and the ODI series in the UK, the tour of Zimbabwe after that and was named in the original squad for the forthcoming Afghanistan games, but subject to fitness clearance, like Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and Jasprit Bumrah.The good news for India is that amid the growing list of injuries, Reddy and Washington have been cleared for the Afghanistan T20Is that begin on September 13 in Delhi.
