The instruction will be held on the city’s , between Tennessee and Broadway avenues. Parents are welcome to participate in the clinic with their children. Loaner pickleball paddles and tennis racquets will be provided if participants do not have their own equipment, according to information from Coach Bowman.
“My goal is to support the family fun parents and kids will experience at the Festival’s free kid zone at the Civic Center this Saturday. My target audience includes parents with sons and daughters currently attending middle school or high school. I’m hoping families might want to learn a new racquet sport and enjoy a healthy activity together on the City’s public courts. I also hope the youth participants continue to play a racquet sport and set their sights on joining a high school team in the future," he said.
The number of participants (4-6 maximum) will be limited for each 30 minute clinic. Every clinic will start on the hour (10 a.m., 11 am., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.) and no one under the age of 18 may enter the courts until their parent or guardian signs the city’s medical release form.
