An unexpected name landed on first SEC availability report before the Kentucky game.

Jorden Edmonds, Noah Rogers, Cayden Jones, Nick Sherman are listed as out, while Jireh Edwards andn AK Dear are "questionable. "

On Monday, Sept. 7, DeBoer said the "guys that are closest" to a return are Edwards and Dear, while Rogers is "just down the road here just a little bit" after a lower-body injury he suffered at A-Day. Edwards has an arm injury, while Dear has a lower-body injury.

Edmonds also has a lower-body injury and is considered week-to-week.

Alabama defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman is out for the season with an ACL injury.

Alabama kicks off against Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
