baseball's 2028 class is slowly rounding into shape as the Aggies continue to add talented players to the commitment list. With all the talk about pitching, you need an elite catcher to pair with those arms, and A&M just received a commitment from one of the best in the country.

On Wednesday, 2028 C/SS Benjamin Terry (Corpus Christi, Texas) announced his commitment to , giving the Aggies a versatile defender who can play multiple premium positions and possesses impressive arm talent.

Terry is already racking up accolades, including being named the 2026 Prep Baseball Future Games Most Valuable Catcher, while Over-Slot Baseball currently in the country. Terry has recorded a 1.96-second pop time, and on the mound, he's already touching the low 90s with his fastball.

He's no slouch in the batter's box either, posting a .485/.549/.808 slash line with 16 doubles, four home runs and 22 RBIs in 33 games during his sophomore varsity season.

The Texas product joins an emerging that includes pitchers AJ Bonnette and Jackson Salmieri. Like every recruiting class, we'll see who ultimately makes it to campus, but this is a great start for the future of the program.
