. injury update: QB Sam Darnold is Questionable (hip).— Seahawks PR (@seahawksPR) Darnold went down face first to the ground while being sacked by a former Seahawk, defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones. The replay didn’t show an obvious pull or tweak of the hip from movement here, but it was officially reported as a hip injury. They are calling it a hip injury. Not my first thought from video but when the thigh jams into the ground it loads the posterior hip too.

Tom Christ’s analysis doesn’t paint a hopeful picture that Darnold will return tonight.
