Viki Bozhkova carried the offensive load for the Whalers with 14 kills, while Quinn Canty added seven kills. Cariela Acosta recorded four aces and 12 digs. Julie Pires made 16 digs to go with four kills.

Sturgis West 273, Cape Cod Academy 326: Alex Saunders led the Navigators (3-0) to a third consecutive win to start the season after he carded the only sub-40 round with a three-over 39 in windy conditions at Sandwich Hollows Golf Club. JP Ferretti (44), Cooper Stephens (46), Grady Dwyer (46), Milo Allison (49) and Jayden Lyonnais (49) all figured into the scoring.The Seahawks (0-1) were led by Olivia Jatczack and Andreas Stefos, who both carded matching five-over 41s.
Bourne 243, Fairhaven 247: Course management was the strategy heading into the Canalmen's match at Rochester Golf Club's short and tight track. Ronan Kelly, who eagled the par 4 fourth-hole with a 10-foot putt, shot a four-over 38 to lead the undefeated Canalmen (4-0).
Vinny Delfavero also hit the driveable par 4 with his tee shot and birdied the hole. He finished with a season-best 39 (+5). Cole Thomas birdied the par 4 seventh on his way to posting a 40. Henry Bongzani birdied the sixth hole to help pull out the slim margin victory.
Boys Soccer
Dighthon-Rehoboth 5, Bourne 1: Gus Sousa, who was making his first start as a freshman, scored the only goal for the Canalmen (0-1-0) with a beautiful one-timer off a back pass from Mycah Hingston. It was a 1-1 game across the first 30 minutes of play before the hosts scored three goals from free kicks. Defender Ryan Conlon was strong at the back despite the loss.Girls Soccer

Nantucket 18, Sturgis West 43; Nantucket 20, Sturgis East 39; Sturgis West 28, Sturgis East 30: The Whalers swept the tri-meet with the Navigators and the Storm. The Navigators secured a win over the Storm in their head-to-head matchup.Falmouth 16, Barnstable 39: Owen Langlais, who is a freshman, took first place overall with a time of 18:59. Jack Goodwin, Jackson Citrone, and Lukas Bushy followed with second, third, and fourth place, while Michael Dunn rounded out the scoring for the Clippers (1-0). John Serriello was the highest place finisher for the Redhawks (0-1) as he came in fifth.
Girls Cross Country
Falmouth 19, Barnstable 36: The Clippers' Tess Ledwell made her cross country debut by finishing first overall with a time of 21:03 against the Redhawks (0-1). Fiona Sheehan, Marlowe Smelser, Izzy Cabral, and Kate Partan rounded out the rest of the scoring with the third through sixth places.Sturgis East 19, Nantucket 41; Sturgis East 20, Sturgis West 38; Sturgis West 23, Nantucket 34: The Storm emerged with a pair of victories from their dual meet with the Navigators and the Whalers. The Navigators picked up a lone victory in the tri-meet against the Whalers.
