Running back Jonathon Brooks is set for his first regular season appearance in a long time.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales said on Friday that Brooks is off the injury report and ready to go against the Bears. Brooks has been dealing with a groin injury, but Canales said at his press conference that he will play with "no limitations. "
Brooks tore his ACL for the second time in two seasons in December, 2024 and missed all of last season while working his way back. The 2024 second-round pick will join Chuba Hubbard in the backfield for Carolina.
Defensive tackle Bobby Brown (back) is also set to play after being limited in practice earlier this week, but defensive end Pat Jones (back) has been ruled out.
