Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 11, but has been ruled out for Week 1.

Why It Matters: Penix Jr. has been practicing over the last few weeks but is still not ready to play in a game at this point. He will have a good chance to be the starting quarterback once he is healthy. Cooper Rush will start Week 1 but will not be a starting fantasy option in any league.
