Health and Family Welfare Minister U.T. Khader gave job orders to 51 candidates for various roles including First Division Assistant, Second Division Assistant and Group D category at Arogya Soudha in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

All the 51 are dependents of former government employees who have died while in service in the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Mr. Khader said, “They have been appointed candidates to various cadre as per their educational qualifications as per the rules prevailing in the Karnataka Civil Services (Recruitment on Compassionate Basis) Rules, 1996 (as amended from time to time). The candidates were appointed after receiving from the subordinate institutions and Regional Commissioners under the jurisdiction of all the District Health and Family Welfare Officers of the State. The files with complete documentation have been approved and the location has been selected through online counseling.”

Around 25 of them have been appointed as First Division assistants, 14 as Second Division Assistant and 12 as Group D employees.
