
Officials cited issues related to alleged hygiene problems and mislabelling. Several items were seized, and the hotel owner was instructed to close down the kitchen until things are set right as per food safety standards and the FSDA inspects it before allowing it to reopen.
The FSDA has so far inspected and seized hundreds of kilograms of expired and mislabelled food products from seven star hotels, five star hotels, e-commerce food supply stores, various fast food units, kitchens operating in various clubs across the city, and even medicines that were procured by e-commerce supply stores without proper licences.
