With no other nominations filed for the two positions, Dhumal, who is seeking another term as IPL chairman, and Majumdar, the representative from the Indian Cricketers’ Association, are expected to be formally elected at the AGM.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Cricket Association is missing from the electoral list for the BCCI AGM. Sources, however, said HCA president Jeevan Reddy is expected to attend the meeting, even if he does not participate in the election process.
The final list of valid nominations was confirmed following scrutiny by BCCI electoral officer A.K.Joti, with both Dhumal and Majumdar clearing the nomination stage. Their unopposed election will ensure continuity in the IPL Governing Council, which oversees the administration and key policy decisions concerning the league.
