CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) is conducting a five-day training programme on Magnetotelluric Exploration for Earth Resources under the CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative at its Habsiguda campus from September 7 to 11, 2026.
Published - September 10, 2026 07:24 pm ISTThe programme aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in magnetotelluric (MT) exploration, a geophysical technique used to investigate subsurface structures and assess earth resources.
A total of 11 participants are attending the training programme.
Director Pakash Kumar and other scientists - Abhey Ram Bansal, E.V.S.S.K. Babu, K. Rama Mohan, B.P.K. Patro, and K.K. Abdul Azeez - were present at the inaugural session, said a press release on Thursday.
