Caleb Wilson only spent one season at the University of North Carolina, playing the one year after committing as a five-star recruit. In that one season, Wilson made an impact right away and was the Tar Heels' best player. His impact was felt when he suffered a thumb injury in February and missed the rest of the season. UNC didn't look like the same team with him out. Now, after his lone season with the Tar Heels he's looking to make that impact with the Chicago Bulls. Despite not playing a game yet and just Summer League action, the Bulls are happy with Wilson and believe he can be the best player in this past draft. The vibes around the franchise have changed and are positive for what Wilson can bring. And over the weekend, he showed off his skill set in a pro am game. For Wilson, he's embraced the Chicago basketball culture and what the Bulls' franchise is about. So it's nice to see him out and participating in events. The Bulls will open up the 2026-27 NBA season on the road as they face the Toronto Raptors on October 21st.
