LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Football season is back across Arkansas as teams from Division II opened their 2026 campaigns Thursday night.
Several Arkansas programs picked up season-opening victories, including Harding, Henderson State and Arkansas Tech, while Ouachita Baptist, Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello fell.

• Harding def. Northwestern Oklahoma State, 76-0
• Henderson State def. Southern Nazarene, 57-21
• Arkansas Tech def. Southwestern Oklahoma State, 26-20
• East Central def. Ouachita Baptist, 27-17
• Southeastern Oklahoma State def. Arkansas-Monticello, 21-12
• Oklahoma Baptist def. Southern Arkansas, 38-20
