The Border War continues, across several sports.
Despite splitting conferences with Colorado State now in the Pac-12 and Wyoming remaining in the Mountain West, the longtime rivals will keep playing in several prominent sports.
The programs announced on Sept. 2 contracts far into the future to keep playing rivalry games in men's and women's basketball, women's soccer and volleyball. The football programs already have a deal signed to play through 2036 (although there's currently a gap in 2027).
While there are no 2027 games listed, the news release from CSU says "CSU and Wyoming are set to play in soccer, men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball in 2027. The two schools are working together to continue the football series in 2027 as well following conference realignment."

- In Fort Collins — 2028, 2030, 2032, 2034
- In Laramie — 2029, 2031, 2033, 2035
The teams are also playing Dec. 11, 2026 in Fort Collins.
Future CSU and Wyoming women's basketball matchups
- In Fort Collins — 2028, 2030, 2032, 2034
- In Laramie — 2029, 2031, 2033, 2035
The teams are playing Nov. 13, 2026 in Fort Collins this season.
Future CSU and Wyoming volleyball matchups
- In Fort Collins — 2029, 2031, 2033, 2035
- In Laramie — 2028, 2030, 2032, 2034
The teams play Sept. 12, 2026 in Laramie this season.
Future CSU and Wyoming women's soccer matchups
- In Fort Collins — 2028, 2030, 2032, 2034
- In Laramie — 2029, 2031, 2033, 2035
