Will Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars starters play in preseason v. Saints today?

Will Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars starters play against the New Orleans Saints on Saturday? Following the team's joint practice on Thursday, head coach Liam Coen confirmed that Lawrence and other starters would not be playing in the preseason opener. One of the benefits of having a joint practice is that it provides a game-like setting but is within a more controlled environment, allowing key players to get those critical reps against another opponent.
