Who has scored the most Champions League goals?
Image source, Getty ImagesCristiano Ronaldo has racked up an astonishing 140 Champions League goals, with Lionel Messi second on 129 .
Neither of those famous rivals are currently playing in European leagues and it is highly likely their totals will remain unchanged.
Third-place Robert Lewandowski is still playing professional football, but will also not be able to build on his tally following his move from Barcelona to Chicago Fire.
2022 Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema is next in line in fourth place, but is currently a free agent.
And Raul, with whom Mbappe shares fifth place, retired from professional football in 2015.
It means Mbappe could still become the all-time top scorer - but would need to nearly double his current tally over the rest of his career.

It has set Haaland clear at the top by 13 games.
Sitting just behind Mbappe in the league's all-time scorers list - and being one year younger - means if the striker's European form continues, he is another strong contender to become the overall record-holder.
