With the PGA Tour regular season now over, it's time to decide a season-long winner with the FedEx Cup playoffs.
The playoffs will take place over the course of tree tournaments throughout August, with the field competing to determine a FedExCup playoffs champion. While stars like Scottie Scheffler enter the series of tournaments with a leg up, any of the 70 players who made it this far are eligible to come out on top in the end.
Scheffler is the top-ranked player in the standings, putting him in great position to move on to the next phase of the playoffs. However, only 50 players will earn a spot in next week's BMW Championship, so 20 golfers will be heading home after this weekend.
TBC Southwind in Memphis has been a consistent host on the PGA Tour since 1989 and has provided a variety of memories over the years. Last year, Justin Rose came out as the champion in the first leg of the playoffs.
