The Washington Commanders open their preseason schedule on Friday evening as the Miami Dolphins come to Northwest Stadium. The two teams shared the field for a joint practice in Ashburn on Wednesday.
Washington head coach Dan Quinn hasn’t yet indicated how much his starters will play against the Dolphins. However, most of the Commanders’ healthy starters participated in Wednesday’s practice, meaning they may only play for a series or two on Friday. Quarterback Jayden Daniels was outstanding in Wednesday’s practice, and it’s uncertain how much Daniels will play, if at all.
