The Rams will be in a similar QB situation, with leading man Matthew Stafford not likely to be in play. With roster continuity and the magnitude of Los Angeles' new additions Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson and Joe Cardona, there won't be many reps for rookies. But coach Sean McVay has confirmed Ty Simpson "definitely will" play in the opener Saturday.
