Real Madrid star Andriy Lunin secured for himself a rare assist during the club’s latest outing. This came courtesy of a pinpoint throw from his penalty area.
José Mourinho’s troops were back in action on Wednesday evening, locking horns with La Liga rivals Deportivo La Coruña in the annual Trofeo Teresa Herrera. When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result, to keep alive what has been an unbeaten pre-season to date.
And as alluded to above, the only goal of the clash came in spectacular fashion…
After picking the ball up inside his own penalty area, Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin spotted Brahim Díaz breaking in behind the Deportivo backline. From here, the Ukrainian launched a brilliant throw, landing the ball directly on Brahim’s chest.
The latter then surged forward, showcasing remarkable control and pace to burst through on goal and pick out the bottom corner.
