The Arizona Cardinals are not projected to be a playoff team, but the preseason is going pretty well.
A 27-14 win against the Raiders in Las Vegas on Thursday night, Aug. 13, showed an effective series of strong plays on offense — and the defense wasn't too bad, either. The Cardinals dropped their preseason opener, 33-30, to the Carolina Panthers in the Aug. 6 Hall of Fame Game, during which fans saw a seemingly improved offense.
That group took another positive step.
And, thanks to the team's social strategy, the extremely popular NFL victory speech is back.

The next morning, the Cardinals allowed their fans to see first-year coach Mike LaFleur's locker-room comments to the team, accentuated by a "we haven't done anything yet" mantra ending with the idea that the team is targeting its peak to hit Sept. 13 — the season opener in Los Angeles against the Chargers.
