The two latest incoming additions to the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona on Tuesday morning arrived at the club’s official offices. This came with a view to undergoing their respective medical tests.
It has of course been a busy last 24 hours in Catalunya’s capital. After weeks of back-and-forth speculation and negotiations, Barcelona finally secured the green light to move ahead with their third and fourth high-profile signings of the summer.
Following the respective arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, the Blaugrana have now also put deals in place to sign Rodri, and João Cancelo.
Both players are set to be unveiled as members of Hansi Flick’s squad over the days ahead, ahead of potential appearances in Barca’s La Liga opener against Elche on Sunday.
Defender Cancelo and midfielder Rodri, on Tuesday, therefore made their way to the Ciutat Esportiva, to undergo a round of medical scans and checks.
