Tina Langley and the Washington Huskies are one of five programs remaining in the hunt for one of the top point guards in the 2027 class in four-star Kaylor Buse. The 5-foot-9 product of West Linn High School in Oregon, who is ranked as the No. 52 player in the nation by ESPN, placed the Huskies alongside Oregon, South Carolina, TCU, and Utah Buse has already taken her official visit to Washington, with the Horned Frogs next on the docket on August 28, followed by the Utes on September 11, the in-state Ducks on September 18, before finishing up with the Gamecocks on October 3.
After getting in a little later on her recruitment, outside of the Ducks, coach Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks look like they could be one of the biggest threats to Langley in her pursuit of the talented guard.

I don’t think any of these are too late, or it puts people at a detriment if they came in late. " " Dawn is exactly who you think she is. It was kind of crazy calling her for the first time. That kind of felt unreal just because she’s Dawn Staley. I wasn’t shocked at all. She’s super down to earth and just very pure communication. You can tell what she’s about through the way she speaks highly of her players and of her program. I think every head coach is going to do that, but she just does it to a really authentic level.
I’m excited to get on campus and meet the girls. Their fans are hilarious. Their fans are like blowing up each post. I’m just excited to be on campus, I think with that one, and see if the distance will be an indicator or not.” Langley is still searching for her first commit in the 2027 class, and Buse would bring a promising boost to her backcourt.
