The Golden State Warriors roster is currently far from set, and there's absolutely no debating that.
Right now, the Warriors not only need to add a few players but also have a huge need for more talent.
This Warriors team is not good enough on paper to compete for a championship, and the unfortunate part is that they really aren't in a position to even add players who could get them there. Right now, the Warriors will have to take chances on some former players who were once regarded as potential difference-makers in the NBA.
One guy who fits that mold is former Chicago Bulls first-round pick Dalen Terry. Terry has yet to prove anything in the NBA, but that hasn't stopped the Warriors from showing some level of interest, according to the latest report.
“Free agents who I'm told are drawing legitimate interest from Golden State for the Warriors' open roster spots: Georges Niang and Brandon Williams.
“On his Bleacher Report livestream Tuesday afternoon, Jake also mentioned Dalen Terry as a potential Warriors target,” Marc Stein wrote.
For the Warriors, going after guys like Georges Niang and Brandon Williams would be much better ideas than trying to land a player like Terry.
The idea for Terry would be to bring him in and hope he can develop into a decent NBA player, but he's far from a win-now piece.
