The Minnesota Vikings have reshuffled the practice squad for the third time in as many days, officially re-signing quarterback Max Brosmer and wide receiver Dillon Bell, while also adding outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy and running back DeeJay Dallas.
Van Noy signed with the Vikings late Tuesday night. The 35-year-old had two sacks and nine QB hits in 2025 with the Ravens, but he combined for 22.5 sacks in 2023 and 2024.
Van Noy is on the practice squad for now, but the expectation is that he’ll be on the active roster when Minnesota opens the regular season on Sept. 13 against Green Bay.
Dallas is an interesting addition. The 27-year-old has been in the league since Seattle selected him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He’s made a career out of being a third-string running back, though he’s had only 22 carries over the past three seasons.
It’s unclear what Minnesota plans to do with Dallas, especially since the top three running backs are set with Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason, and rookie Demond Claiborne.
To make room on the practice squad for Brosmer, Bell, Van Noy, and Dallas, the Vikings formally released outside linebacker Cam’Ron Stewart, center Gavin Gerhardt, guard Tristan Leigh, and guard Joshua Gray.
