I’m trying out something new here. I have put together a video breakdown of Cade Klubnik’s 7 passing attempts (and one sack) from the Jets’ preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Depending on how things go I might use this format more this year.
I know there’s a lot of interest in how Klubnik did so I did my best to take you through my thoughts play to play. I’m still new to this genre so forgive me as I learn how to produce these things. I’ll do my best to learn and improve if I do more of these.
What that said, I hope this wins an Oscar.
Generally speaking, I thought Klubnik did well in his debut. There was more good than bad, and to the extent there was bad, it tended to be inexperience as one might expect from a rookie in his first game.
I would encourage everybody to not read more into a handful of preseason snaps than you need to. But if you want to know how Klubnik did, below is what I think.
