50-0 shutout win over Missouri State was impressive, but given the talent difference, this blowout score was expected for a team with College Football Playoff aspirations. After the newly formed offensive line struggled in the first half, national perception has been murky, even though starting quarterback Marcel Reed looked improved, completing 70% of his passes for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Nonetheless, the Aggie O-line looked the part in the second half, especially in the run game, resulting in 150 of the team's 236 rushing yards and three touchdowns, which was a great sign that the running game has improved this offseason given the depth with freshmen Carsyn Baker and KJ Edwards now a key part of the rotation.

One of those key members, sophomore Jamarion Morrow, scored his first touchdown of the season, running for 27 yards on eight carries, which, according to Mike Elko during Wednesday's Aggie Football Hour, was strategic, due to the former blue-chip prospect being after a physical preseason.

Morrow is fully expected to take the field against on Saturday, and will split snaps with junior Rueben Owens combined with Carsyn Baker and KJ Edwards. After defeating Missouri State, Mike Elko announced that freshman wide receiver and freshman defensive lineman Chace Sims are out for the year.
