Two Class 9 students from Keralam will represent the country at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Championship 2026, to be held from December 8 to 10 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Nair of Naipunya Public School, Kakkanad, have been selected in the Future Innovators (Senior) category after their team secured a gold medal at the WRO India National in Hyderabad. The team showcased a prototype they developed to preserve and digitise palm leaf manuscripts using robotic techniques.
