The lost to the Seattle Seahawks by a 13-10 score in Wednesday night's season opener.

It was a game that was a defensive battle, and ultimately, the Seahawks earned the victory. Seattle’s starting quarterback, Sam Darnold, got injured in the first quarter, and backup quarterback Drew Lock had to step up for the Seahawks to win.

And he certainly did just that, going 16-of-22 passing on the night for 187 yards and a touchdown. However, he got a huge helping hand from the Seahawks' defense, which forced three turnovers for the second straight game against the Drake Maye and Josh Disaster class. So dissapointing.— Ghost Aeolus (@Aeolus)

The game was over after the first quarter, complete disaster. Drake should’ve played in the preseason. He just wasn’t ready— Hiro603 (@hiro603official)
Patriots being 0-1 isn’t a great feeling but last season they started 0-1. Just bounce back and win.— New England Sports Review (@nesportreview)
That’s absolutely horrendous from Drake Maye and the New England Patriots. What a complete choke on opening night.— Brad Klibansky (@BradKlibansky)
The Patriots are going to take a MASSIVE step back if this is how their offense is going to look all season. Very conservative and predictable. They’re doing NOTHING 15+ yards downfield.— Josh Taylor (@JoshTaylorFB)
This patriots team is terrible. The defense is good, but the offense is FRAUDULENT. Can’t believe people had teams like the broncos and ravens below them— Jeff (@Jeff_L4)
The patriots offense was at its best last season swinging out of the gate.

Unfortunately they are playing with the same mentality they did in the afccg, except this time it’s week one and the weather is perfect and there’s just no reason to.

Grinding out a week one game like…— tom (@TomTalkToEm)
One of the all time most disappointing games I’ve ever watched the New England Patriots play. Abhorrent on all fronts.— Tanner McGrath (@tannerstruth)
New England led Seattle by double digits in the second half.
