South Western Railway has decided to temporarily cancel Vasco da Gama-Kulem special trains for 26 days to facilitate track-doubling work, according to a release.
Published - September 09, 2026 06:31 pm ISTThe temporary line block is being imposed to carry out Through Sleeper Renewal (TSR) work at Sankval Yard in connection with the ongoing track-doubling project.
Consequently, the following passenger train services will remain fully cancelled from September 9 to October 4, a period of 26 days.
Train No. 56964 Vasco da Gama-Kulem DEMU Special will remain fully cancelled from September 9 to October 4.
Similarly, Train No. 56963 Kulem-Vasco da Gama DEMU Special will remain fully cancelled from September 9 to October 4, the release said.
