Titans' Robert Saleh, 'It's a big week' heading into cuts

The Tennessee Titans are preparing to enter the final week of training camp and will hold a joint practice with the Chicago Bears later in the week ahead of their final preseason game. With this being the final stretch of work, the dreaded cut day is within sight, and teams will have to be down to 53 players on Sunday afternoon, meaning it will be the end of the road for some of the players who made an impact on Sunday night. While speaking with the media on a virtual call on Monday, head coach Robert Saleh addressed the week ahead and what it means for some players. "The message is really no different: You can't focus on the things that are going to happen next Sunday when cutdowns happen," Saleh said. "There's a lot of positions up for grabs, but at the same time, the information is damn near complete. It's a big week, and there's a lot of things that can move the needle." The Titans still have a few battles going on, and some of the final roster spots are still up for grabs, making this a big week for some of the players on the fringe. This is especially true for a few players on the bubble who were held out of Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. With a regular practice on Tuesday, a joint practice on Thursday, and the final preseason game on Saturday, it is imperative that these players make a final push this week.
