Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Zonal Coordinator R. Srinivasa Reddy and his spouse, MLA Reddeppagari Madhavi Reddy, huddled with locally prominent leaders in the district on Friday (September 11, 2026), ahead of the local body elections. The agenda included discussions on prospective candidates and guidelines for the cadre.

While strongly believing that the NDA’s development agenda over the last two years would garner votes, the leaders have also reportedly identified new names for the various divisions in the corporation.
Later, Ms. Madhavi Reddy formally launched the additional fire tender sanctioned to the Fire Services Department in Kadapa. She called it an important intervention in reaching out to the extended peripheries of the city, especially during the current hostile weather conditions. Mr. Srinivasa Reddy stated that the presence of advanced equipment would help prevent the loss of lives and property during fire accidents.
