The Steelers locker room had already started having fun with Metcalf’s theories.
“They were telling me about it, I deleted Instagram. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna hear Mason, as a matter of fact, Mason said some sh*t about it. So he made a little joke about it, but he’s a little politician, so I’m gonna leave it at that.”
Metcalf also picked “Mr. Freeze” over “Abominable Snowman” as a nickname. “Mr. Freeze. I was Frozone growing up from The Incredibles, so it’s a good nickname.”

Asked if he had spent plenty of time thinking about the subject, the Steelers star stayed casual. “I mean, I play football, I play video games. I’m gonna go home.” One final question brought one final tease. Asked whether there was anything beyond Antarctica, Metcalf answered, “No, there’s a lot beyond Antarctica.”
