Ohio is playing its third game of the tournament. After their start to Friday morning, West Side suffered a against Nevada on Aug. 21. The kids from Hamilton quickly bounced back the next day in the Elimination Bracket, with a 10-0 run rule win in four innings.
Texas also lost in the first round of the World Series, falling to Washington 4-3 on Aug. 21. The Southwest champions loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the sixth but couldn't get the tying run home. Texas hasn't played since, getting a bye in the Elimination Bracket.
