That said, its creators have expressed interest in continuing the characters' adventures, whether through another season, a feature-length project, or another reboot of some sort. And while it's not a full-fledged revival, Star Trek: Prodigy is making an unexpected comeback thanks to the newly announced Rediscovered release (via ).
According to the roadmap, PC players can expect to see the Vau N'Akat Starship introduced at the beginning of the year alongside the No Win Scenario TFO event. The Vau N'Akat are central to Prodigy's larger story, particularly through characters like the Diviner and Asencia, making their technology a natural fit for Star Trek Online. For now, the roadmap does not reveal additional details about the ship itself or indicate that more substantial Prodigy story content is coming alongside it.
Before then, however, Rediscovered officially launches September 22 on PC, followed by PlayStation and XBOX on November 10. The update continues the remastered "Ultimate Klingon" storyline and sends players on a journey through Star Trek history after the disappearances of Miral Paris and B'vat.
Most notably, that adventure brings together as Commander Spock. Rediscovered also adds the new "The City on the Edge of Never" episode, the Klingon-themed "Know Thy Enemy" TFO, anniversary rewards, and a 60th Anniversary Starship Icons Prize Pack with a top reward of the Strange New Worlds Constitution-class Enterprise.
It's a massive update that celebrates 60 years of Star Trek in style, and fans of the franchise have a ton of new content to look forward to in the coming months.
