San Antonio Spurs forward Julian Champagnie is returning to the city's Far West Side this weekend for a free meet-and-greet with fans.
Physicians Premier said in a Facebook post that Champagnie will appear at its Potranco location from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.
The event will be held at Physicians Premier ER–Potranco, 12314 Potranco Road, Suite 102, near the intersection of Potranco Road and Grosenbacher Road.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet Champagnie, take photos with him and get an autograph during his hourlong appearance, according to Physicians Premier. The emergency room operator encouraged attendees to bring their families, Spurs gear and cameras.

Champagnie is coming off a breakout season in which he helped the Spurs reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014. He averaged career highs of 11.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists while appearing in all 82 regular-season games. He also set Spurs records with 195 made 3-pointers during the regular season and 61 during the postseason.
The Spurs rewarded Champagnie in June by signing him to a three-year, $45 million contract that keeps the 25-year-old forward in San Antonio through the 2028-29 season. Champagnie joined the Spurs during the 2022-23 season after beginning his NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers.
