WATERTOWN — The second Clash @ Casino featured 110 cars, some big prize money and a rare Saturday night racing program at Casino Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 22. The event, which was highlighted by the Tri State Late Models, featured prize money for feature winners of $2,500 (late models), $1,500 (modifieds), $1,200 super stocks and $1,000 (street stocks and Midwest modifieds). The 40-lap late model feature was won by Cory Dumpert of Newman Grove (NE), who took the checkered flag ahead of current Casino Speedway points leader Mike Stearns. Joseph Thomas of Glyndon, MN won the 25-lap modified feature. Brothers Levi and Landyn Randt of Siren, WI each won features on the same night for the second time this year at Casino. Levi won the 20-lap street stock main and Landyn the 20-lap Midwest modified main. Christian Kast of Fairmount, ND won the 15-lap hornets feature. It is his second feature win of the season at Casino Speedway. Watertown's Jayson Good won the B feature in the late model division. Heat winners included Dumpert, Stearns and Charlie Olsen of Hendricks (MN). Dumpert, Stearns and Trevor Anderson of Watertown won qualifying races in the class, which included 28 cars. Other heat winners included Tony Miller of Browns Valley (MN), Joe Martin of Willmar (MN) and Levi Randt, street stocks; Landyn Randt, Tommy Nichols of Watertown and Dawson Zabel of Selby, Midwest modifieds; Thomas and Tony Konold of Clear Lake, modifieds; Matthew Dittman of Lake Lillian (MN) and Matthew Moes of Watertown, hornets; and Dexton Koch of Becker (MN) and Trevor Nelson of Warner, super stocks. There were 23 Midwest modifieds, 18 street stocks, 17 modifieds, 12 super stocks and 12 hornets in the field. Racing returns to Sunday with another program scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30.
Brown County Speedway ABERDEEN — Some familiar drivers found their way to Victory Lane with feature wins on Friday, Aug. 21. Trevor Nelson of Warner won his eighth super stock feature of the season at BCS. Dawson Zabel of Selby (Midwest modifieds) and Dusty Mund of Lisbon, ND (legends) each won for the fifth time and Kent Arment of Aberdeen (modifieds) for the third time in 2026. Cole Searing of Huron (late models) and Kyle Bertram of Dallas (street stocks) each won their first features of the year. Heat winners include Searing and Arment, late models; Kyle Schell of Aberdeen, Jake Wranek of Sioux Falls and Ryan Ost of Adrian, ND (Midwest modifieds); Jesse Young of Warner and Dylan Zabel of Selby, modifieds; Jodie Michaelsohn of Aberdeen and Jayden Bogh of Huron, street stocks; Nelson and Mike Rohwedder of Bath, super stocks; and Mund and Bo Gregor of Lisbon, legends. The car count was 89 and included 22 Midwest modifieds, 17 street stocks, 16 super stocks, 12 late models, 11 modifieds and 11 legends. The season championship race is set for Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
Fiesta City Speedway MONTEVIDEO, MN — Scott Tofte of Madison (MN) won his second Midwest modifieds feature of the season on Friday, Aug. 21. Tofte also won a heat race in the division. Eighty cars were in the field (18 Midwest modifieds, 15 street stocks, 14 super stocks, 13 hornets, 12 pure stocks and eight late models). There were 113 cars that raced in the program, including 40 Midwest modifieds, 29 modifieds, 18 Gen X late models, 16 street stocks and 10 hornets. The season championship race is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
Madison Speedway MADISON, MN — There were no scheduled racing programs over the weekend at Madison Speedway.
