Barcelona are being credited with fresh interest in RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba as we head towards the end of the summer transfer window.
The Catalans have waved goodbye to center-back Ronald Araujo recently and there are still whispers that Jules Kounde could move on amid interest from Arsenal.
According to Ekrem Konur, Barcelona are still thinking about strengthening the defence and have asked RB Leipzig about Lukeba’s availability.
Deco and Hansi Flick are said to be admirers of the 23-year-old defender who has bags of potential and looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.
The club’s current focus still seems to be on trying to bring in Rodri and Julian Alvarez, but it’s not ruled out that a defender could also arrive before the window shuts.
