The deluge of rain across Indiana this week and threat of flooding has impacted the high school football scrimmage schedule for Friday night.

Pendleton Heights coach Jed Richman said the team’s scrimmage at New Castle scheduled for Friday night is in doubt as of Friday morning. New Castle has also been hit hard by rain.

The Pendleton Heights football team helped neighbors in the community on Thursday who experienced flooding damage.

Fort Wayne South Side, which was scheduled to host Anderson, will play Huntington North instead. South Side announced it would be collecting water, Gatorade and canned food for spectators and making donations to Anderson High School instead of the $5 admission.
