In the month of August alone, Reese scored more than two hundred points, grabbed more than 150 boards, assisted more than forty times, and also had more than twenty steals. This truly is some unbelievable feat for the league, which has led to Cindy Brunson predicting that Reese might soon win the DPOY award.

Angel Reese seems to be simply thriving with the Dream Team, especially when compared to her previous franchise in Chicago. In her last team, Reese was caught frequently complaining about her teammates and the management of the franchise itself.
However, in Atlanta, Reese has found a lot more appreciative teammates, along with an incredible head coach who has ensured that the baller gets enough opportunities to impress on the court all the time.
With Reese in their midst, Atlanta has already earned their playoff ticket with a stunning record during the regular season. Right now, the Dream sits in the No. 4 spot, with Caitlin Clark’s Fever franchise trailing one spot behind them in the table.
Angel Reese Praise By Cindy Brunson Trolled By Haters
Angel Reese seems to be at the receiving end of trolling and mockery no matter how much she stuns on the court. After Cindy Brunson shared her support for Reese to win the DPOY award for this season, the comments section of her tweet was filled with mockery from haters.
Some fans highlighted that Reese tends to grab many of her own missed shots, which convert into rebounds, and therefore her record is not legit. Others feel that she is responsible for so many fouls in the WNBA and cannot be eligible for the DPOY award.
Meanwhile, some are even trolling Brunson herself and many other journalists for being so supportive of Reese. It also seems like many fans have issues with her being covered in the spotlight a lot during Atlanta pressers.
This is nothing new for Reese, who has been vilified and mocked, often with racial slurs, as soon as she stepped into the W. Most of the hate seemed to come from fans of Caitlin Clark, who consider Reese to be one of her biggest rivals.
