WATERTOWN — Five drivers captured feature victories during the Sunday night racing program at Casino Speedway on Aug. 16, 2026.

Maria Broksieck of Goodwin won her third street stock feature of the season at Casino and Tony Croninger of Watertown (Gen X late models), Justin Kanten of Howard (late models) and Adam VanDerostyne of Canby, MN (hornets) each won their second features.

Luke Johnson of Miller won his first Midwest modifieds feature of the season.

Heat winners were Josh Long of Canby, MN and Kyle Bertram of Dallas, street stocks; Todd Stark of Watertown and Jake Wranek of Sioux Falls, Midwest modifieds; Minnesota drivers Parker Gilbertson of Watson and Jeff Nelson of Perham, Gen X late models; Mike Stearns of Aberdeen and Trevor Anderson of Watertown, late models; and VanDerostyne.

A field of 56 cars competed, including 13 street stocks and Midwest modifieds, 12 Gen X late models, 11 late models and seven hornets.

The second Clash @ Casino is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22 starting at 6 p.m.

Dakota State Fair Speedway

HURON — Drivers from Winner, Highmore, Warner and Aberdeen nailed down season points titles during the Season Championship racing program on Saturday, Aug. 15 at DSFS.

Season champions included Broc Stout of Winner, street stocks; Jayme Peterson of Highmore, Midwest modifieds; Trevor Nelson of Warner, super stocks; and Josh Skorczewski of Aberdeen, late models.

Nelson won his sixth feature of the season and Skorczewski his third during the program. Stout and Dawson Zabel of Selby (Midwest modifieds) each won for the second time.

Area heat winners included Maria Broksieck of Goodwin and Chris Serr of Aberdeen, street stocks; Scott Hansen of Garden City, Midwest modifieds; Nelson and Skorczewski.

There were 59 cars on hand, including 19 street stocks, 12 super stocks, 11 Midwest modifieds and seven late models.

LAST WEEK'S RACING: Stock car drivers race at four area speedways over the weekend

Madison Speedway

MADISON, MN — Hometown driver Ryan Flaten of Madison won two feature races during the Alt Arneson Memorial on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Flaten won his sixth Midwest modified feature of the season and also added his second modified feature victory.

Fellow area drivers Ian Tjaden of Boyd, MN (pure stocks) and Adam VanDerostyne of Canby, MN (hornets) also added feature wins. VanDeroystne's win was his fifth of the season and Boyd's win was his second.

Area heat winners were Tad Peterson of Dawson, MN and Daxtin Miller of Browns Valley, MN (pure stocks), Tony Croninger of Watertown (Gen X late models), Flaten (Midwest modifieds) and VanDerostyne and Dylan Tirrel of White (hornets).

There were 98 cars in the field (16 Midwest modifieds and street stocks, 14 pure stocks and hornets, 13 super stocks and Gen X late models and 12 modifieds).

The next racing program at the track is slated for Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

Fiesta City Speedway

MONTEVIDEO, MN — Trevor Nelson of Warner (super stocks) and Scott Tofte of Madison, MN recorded feature wins during the racing program on Friday, Aug. 14.

It was the first feature win of 2026 at FCS for both drivers.

Area heat winners included Tofte, pure stock driver Ian Tjaden of Boyd (MN) and hornets driver Adam VanDerostyne of Canby (MN).

A group of 19 Midwest modified drivers were joined by 15 super stocks, 14 pure stocks and hornets and 13 street stocks.

Another racing program is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.

I-94 Speedway

FERGUS FALLS, MN — Trevor Walsh of Watertown won his fourth Gen X late model feature of the season at I-94 Speedway on Friday, Aug. 14.

Maria Broksieck of Goodwin, street stocks, and Dylan Zabel of Selby, modifieds, added heat wins.

The 103-car field included 29 Midwest modifieds, 19 street stocks, 18 late models, 15 Gen X late models, 12 modifieds and 10 hornets.

The Bob Gierke Memorial is on tap for Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.

Brown County Speedway

ABERDEEN — After a two-week break, racing is slated to resume at BCS with a program scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21.
