Kolkata: Samsung Electronics is going to manufacture heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products for AI data centres in India with the group completingthe set up of a dedicated factory for such products in Pune. The company did not reveal the investment figures.The group intends to export these products to the Asia-Pacific region. The plant will be operated by FläktGroup, a Samsung group company. The Pune facility is the first new FläktGroup manufacturing facility to become operational since Samsung Electronics completed its acquisition of the global company in November.Read more: Samsung aims to train 20,000 youths in AI in India"The completion of the production line in Pune marks a significant milestone in expanding our HVAC supply beyond India to the broader Asia-Pacific region. FläktGroup plans to progressively expand production to up to 6,500 HVAC units annually. It will produce air handling units, fan wall units and computer air handlers for AI data centres and other critical infrastructure. The FläktGroup has a plant in Greater Noida too.
