But moments before the two entered the stage, Garcia was caught on camera attempting to smuggle two eggs into his final face-off with Benn. Garcia can be seen placing the eggs into his pocket and sharing a laugh with fellow world champion Jai Opetaia as he prepared to strike.
Benn’s history with eggs is surprisingly long. In 2022, a highly anticipated all-British affair between Benn and long-term rival Chris Eubank Jr. was canceled when Benn tested positive for clomiphene.
