Recent months has seen different proposals as the sport of Thoroughbred racing attempts to gain more fans and attract a bigger market share of the sporting public. At one time, Thoroughbred racing was in the top three as far as sports of public interest in this great country of ours. The Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown races were of major significance in those days, but so were lots of other events. Run Fast Racing is off and running as an organization that has eyes on the prize of increasing exposure for the sport of kings by simply cultivating the tradition of this regal game.

Simple Concept Of Involvement Makes Run Fast Racing Attractive To Many

Over the years, Thoroughbred racing has been thought of as a sport for high rollers and to a certain degree that is true. At the same time, however there are also those stories of innovative ways people have climbed the mountain of greatness in this game (California Chrome, Mystik Dan are just a pair of recent lower cost Kentucky Derby champions). Back in 1969, William (Cot) Campbell introduced the concept of group ownership with Dogwood Stables in an effort to incorporate more people into the thrill of Thoroughbred ownership. Offering shares in different runners, Dogwood enjoyed many fine moments at the track including wins in the Preakness (1990 Summer Squall) and Belmont Stakes (2013 Palace Malice). In an effort to cultivate a similar concept, Run Fast Racing has introduced a group product with a 21st century twist.

The brain child of advertising executive and music manager Adam Kluger, Run Fast Racing has visions of providing Thoroughbred ownership opportunities to everyone. Incorporating a group mentality with an eye on modern culture, the man who has helped artists win 23 Grammy Awards is providing a product that can partner people with Music Icons like Lil Wayne, Rauw Alejandro, and Lil Yachty.

“Anyone that subscribes will co-own horses with these celebrities and enjoy the same benefits of ownership without the headaches of doing it all on your own”, says Kluger, who in 2012 was named by Forbes as one of the top 30 most influential people in the music business. “We take lots of pride in what we are doing here and our goal is to not try and reinvent the sport but simply reintroduce it to the masses.”

Since launching in 2025, Run Fast Racing has enjoyed very solid success. Celebrity ownership is nothing new to this game as many have saddled runners in this adrenaline-rich sport over the years. Now Kluger gives anyone a chance to have some skin in the game and enjoy the many fantastic facets of Thoroughbred racing.

“Our subscribers enjoy ownership in every horse in our stable, not just one or two”, says Kluger. “There is no contract, it is simply a month-to-month deal and when our horses win, everyone gets paid. Since launching, we have been able to maintain 91% of our subscribers and our celebrities have fallen head over heels in love with the sport and our concept.”

Love Of Thoroughbred Racing A Driving Force For Adam Kluger

Why would a guy that has launched people like Lady Gaga into stardom become involved in the development of Run Fast Racing? For Adam Kluger it is quite simple, he LOVES Thoroughbred racing.

“I fell in love with the sport when I was in my 20’s”, says Kluger, who has created campaigns for Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce. “One of the great things about Thoroughbred racing is the tradition of it all. I mean for over 150 years this greatness has been going on and I feel the need to expose the masses to how special this sport truly is. On any given day anybody can analyze and win at the betting windows and that is one of the beauties of the wagering aspects. For me, it feeds a constant desire to explore and learn and I think that is the case for lots of people. With Run Fast Racing, we literally give everyone the opportunity to really get involved and that is my goal, get everyone involved in the game I truly adore.”

Run Fast Racing currently owns 19 horses with most of them based in Southern California. Kluger has plans of expanding the stable with horses in both New York and Kentucky.

Listenupshance Makes Run Fast Racing Grade 1 Winner And Breeders’ Cup Entrant

The success for Run Fast Racing on the track has come rather quickly. On July 25, Listenupshance went gate to wire while winning the grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes at Del Mar. His powerful score provided the up and coming group with their first grade 1 winner and because the Bing is a win and you are in race for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, Run Fast will be Racing in the World Thoroughbred Championships at Keeneland on October 31.

“It is just fantastic to see this group have a chance to go to the Breeders’ Cup”, says Doug O’Neill, trainer of Listenupshance and conditioner of the Run Fast horses in Southern California. “This concept is a God send for the sport. This is 100% great for the game and having these high energy people cultivating involvement is tremendous. Adam Kluger would run through a wall for Thoroughbred racing and he promotes the team effort mentality.”

Listenupshance is currently four and was originally purchased for $10,000 as a yearling. Run Fast Racing acquired him for $30,000 last year and his haul for winning the Bing was $240,000.

“Winning a race like the Bing Crosby is pretty incredible for our organization”, says Kluger. “When we purchased him we knew he was a horse that always ran hard and was someone who could give our people return on their investment and needless to say he absolutely delivered on that. The feeling of a Grade 1 victory helps you understand why some people spend lots of money chasing that glory. Now, thanks to Listenupshance we are going to the Breeders’ Cup.”
