Rosemount High School star Amisha Ramlall is one of the top senior girls’ prep basketball player in Minnesota, and . Her younger sister Ashna Ramlall, also committed to the Cardinal just a few minutes later on Thursday as a member of the 2028 recruiting class.

The 5-foot-11 guard is considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports, and the 48th-best player in the class of 2027, nationally, which is one spot behind Hill-Murray star .
Dawn Plitzuweit and the Gophers currently have zero commitments in the 2027 high school recruiting class, but they’re showing interest in numerous top prospects across the country.
Ashna is considered a top prospect in the class of 2028. Standing at 5-foot-10, she’s ranked 73rd nationally by Prep Girls Hoops. Stanford is entering its third season under head coach Kate Paye, who replaced Hall of Famer Tara VanDerveer after the 2023-24 campaign.
The Ramlall family’s basketball talents are more than just Amisha and Ashna. Amisha’s twin sister Arshia announced in July that she would be attending St. Cloud State in 2027, where their brother Anish, is a senior on the men’s basketball team.
The Ramlall sister led Rosemount to its first ever Minnesota girls’ state basketball championship at the AAAA level last spring. They will look to defend their crown this year, before Amisha and Arshia begin their college careers next fall.
