With a few transfer deals already in place and the Super Cup won, it’s been a successful couple of weeks for PSG since they returned for preseason.
Things are about to get even more exciting, however. Fabrizio Romano is today reporting that Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres has been given permission to travel to Paris to take his medical after the two clubs reached an agreement over a transfer fee for the versatile Spanish attacker.

Torres has made it clear for some time that he wants the move, and the fact that he has just one year left on his contract made it pretty easy for PSG and Barca to come to terms on a transfer fee. It’s €50m, a price both can be pretty happy with.
The World Cup winner has been out of training with Barca while the deal is done – it looks like he’s played his last for the Blaugrana. The priority now will be to get him working with Luis Enrique’s group as soon as possible to get him ready for the new season, with just a couple of weeks to go until Ligue 1 kicks off.
