River Valley shut down Marion Harding 3-0 in a home Mid Ohio Athletic Conference volleyball match Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Myla Kenney led the Vikings with nine kills and 16 digs, while Marin Cheney served three aces and Colette Osborne handed out 22 assists.

More volleyball
- Pleasant took care of Clear Fork 3-0 behind 16 kills, 14 points and seven aces from Kam Cocherl, 16 assists from Cassie Ice, 14 assists, 22 points and five aces from Macy Hamper and three blocks from Faith McCants.

Boys golf
- River Valley's Asher Gates shot nine straight pars to finish with a 36 as the Vikings waltzed to a 166-190 win over Clear Fork at Deer Ridge. Also for RV, Hunter Blankenship had a 41, Silas Lill 43, Eli Weber 46 and Leyton Thrush 46.
- Pleasant edged Colonel Crawford 164-168 at Marion Country Club behind a 39 from Matt Murphy, 40 from Max Diamond, 42 from Kolton Crider, 43 from Nolen West and 44 from Mason England.
- In a three-way match at Three Sticks, North Union cruised with a 143 as Elgin shot 170 and Ridgedale 175. Playing for North Union were Ethan Monroe with a 33, Will Jones with a 36, Rawley Risner and Alex Jolliff with 37s, Jenson Stover with a 40 and Keegan Donohue with a 44.
- North Union also defeated Grandview Heights 173-181 at Marion Country Club. Monroe paced the Wildcats with a 38 followed by a 41 from Jolliff, 45 from Risner, 49s from Jones and Hudsyn Wilson and 50 from Stover.

Girls tennis
- Mount Vernon edged Pleasant 3-2 at Pleasant as No. 2 singles Carly Peyton and No. 1 doubles Keya Patel and Peyton Hensel won matches for the Spartans.
Boys Soccer
- Clear Fork shut out Pleasant 6-0 in the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference matchup. Pleasant's Jair Orrostieta saved 10 shots on goal.
Girls Soccer
- River Valley moved its record to 6-0 after posting a 2-0 victory over Fremont Ross. The Vikings took 20 shots with Chloe Addis and Cassidy Elliott scoring and Peyton Riley getting an assist. Havyn Rodgers posted her fourth shutout and saved five shots.
- North Union's Sam Price scored twice and Paisley Jordan scored once, but Urbana won 5-3. Kendall Wamsley and Zoni Robinson both had assists for the Wildcats as Sabrina Thompson saved 11 shots.
