Musiala was also not included in the squad for the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup last Saturday after a change in his medication. Bayern won the match against Borussia Dortmund 2-1. According to the reports, Musiala is expected to return to team training later this week. The 23-year-old's medication will be adjusted in consultation with doctors and coach Vincent Kompany. After collapsing twice during two pre-season friendly matches earlier this month, Musiala revealed that he was suffering from "brief, temporary - but treatable - absence seizures resulting from a neurological dysfunction" and that he was "optimistic."
